fanboy I've found a way to chain the whole start of stage 3. First destroy the 3 white drones on the right then sway to the left for the 3w drones. Then go to left and kill 6 drones(black and white) now move to the left, and fire one shot at the rotating black and white enemies(at this time the black ones should be in the center so one shot should take them all out.) You shouldn't stop and shot because it'll delay the time you need to get to the left side for the other 6 drones. After you get the other 6 drones, move right again and time another single shot to the 3 black drones in the center.take care of the 6 drones on the far right. Then when you move to the left again the remainding white drones should be in one spot so shoot one shot at them then take care of the drones on the left. Then when you move the the right, the other white drones will be in one spot also. after you take care of the last 3 white drones, you can just chain the rest of the 2 sets of drones in the middle.
Yah I know the way to do it I just cant seem to make it happen, I need to practice that part big time.
There are many other parts that I skip too like the enemies in stage one before those big ships with 8 and 10 guns on them, but I blame it on the DC pad, and the small tv ;)
I've seen a scan of this. The (theoretical?) max chainQuote:

Chapter - Chain
5 - - - - - - - 116
for the Final Chapter is actually 118.
While I'm here, from that same issue, theoretical max
scores?
Chapter 1: 4,240,000
Chapter 2: 6,260,000
Chapter 3: 7,400,000
Chapter 4: 7,720,000
Final Chapter: 5,860,000
Total: 35,670,000
I'd like to know how ARCADIA calculated these numbers.
Yep, you're right... It was a typo on my behalf. Fixed it.Quote:

Actually, there is additional column in the table but I didn't bother to type it up because I really don't know what it means without knowing Japanese, obviously.
It's something like this:
SCORE:
424 [symbol] pts.
626 [-] pts.
740 [-] pts.
772 [-] pts.
586 [-] pts.
Then the final row says something [total, I would presume] and 3567 [-] pts.
There is also a key. It looks like a forumla or something to that effect.
can anyone gave me strats for stage 3's subboss? and the final boss too if you dont mind? I can get to the subboss sometimes with a full energy bar. You wait til the black laser get close to you then fire white hooming lasers then switch to black right away and do the same for the white orbs. Correct?
ch3 7,068,340 max chain 107
Did the Kanji symbol look like "–œ"? If so, that's called "Man" (ten-thousand). Tack "0000" to each of the score numbers, ie. 424+0000 = 4,240,000 pts.Quote:

Here are my masterful copies of the symbols:
This symbol is found in the [ ] next to "pts.":

And these are the symbols that I figured mean total:

I hope they are accurate...
1st Kanji is "Man" or "ten-thousand" (see my above post), 2nd Kanji is "Goukei" or "Sum/grand total".Quote:
