Isn't 9/9 (1995) the Playstation's birthday?
The Dreamcast's 4th Birthday is on 27th Nov 2002
Here's to the best console, with the most fun games I've ever owned... :(

I'm celebrating. In it's "death" DC has given me a early pick for game of the year with Ikaruga.
On the upside, the DC homebrew scene looks pretty good and though the chances are nil, a few Naomi/arcade ports may pop up. For instance, the TGS is supposed to have two DC games on display, I'm doubting these are Ikaruga and KOF 2000 since their runs will be sold out by then.
Play on... *-neo
Spoken like a true Sega whore!:bang: I like your style Golgo. That kind of talk around here will make for a bunch of sore pussies on all of the Sega fanboys.:D Anywho, It is also the Bday for the PSX and if memory serves me correctly the SNES.Quote:

now i really wish i had put FF8 off for another time.
i was actually thinking of buying one the day my mom bought me a PS2. then her fiance purchased a DC for his son, so all was well. then they ended up not getting married, and he sold the DC before i was able to buy/steal it from him.
so... stfu.
I guess that new release for the DUO super CD means it's not dead either? Please?!?!?
It's almost been a year since my first DC became paralyzed (controller ports failed), and I have since sold almost all of my DC games and peripherals... I couldn't afford another DC at the time, and I was mad that my less-than-a-year-old console died on me.
Happy B-day Dreamcast.
I was there on DC's birthday, took the day off from work got there early because EB opened up early, got my Dreamcast t-shirt, coupons and bag, not to mention a Dreamcast, Powerstone and Soul Caliber :)
Sega really did kill it off, they where coming off big loses from Saturn which they still hadn't recovered from and since Dreamcast didn't sell as well as they hoped they wheren't making much ground so they decided to cut thier loses and give up console making... can't say I didn't do my part trying to support it :(
Funny thing is the system that was competing with the Saturn is still getting support and outlived both of Sega's machines, Sega just didn't get any breaks in the console business... the only time they where on top of the console department was when they had NEC TurboGrafx as thier main competitor and that was mostly in the USA.
...depressing story.
