I've never seen Dave Attel's stand up, but Insomniac is fucking hilarious.
I particularly like Eddie Izzard, comic activist Mark Thomas - who legally drove a tank around the streets of London through a loophole that allowed it to be used as an ice cream van and also parked a van outside McDonalds, bought a load of their burgers then started selling them from the van at discounted prices - much to their chagrin.
Eddie Murphy is pretty funny too.
Man, I always forget his last name, but his first name is Brian. I taped his routine the second time I saw it, because it was so funny. So if you saw a routine by a Brian, there's probably 1/1000th chance it's the guy I'm talking about.

Bill Cosby's stand up work is genius. Some of his classic stuff is, well, classic.
I see alot of stand up on pay TV, and the funniest I've seen in along time was this Australian guy who was going about how great fish-sticks are. "You get the goodness of a fish, in the convienience of a stick" :lol:

The Amazing Jonathon - saw his show live in Vegas (really small). It was the most awesome time I have ever had. Never laughed so hard in my life. Pretty much everything he did on Lounge lizards plus some more hillarious shit that would NEVER make it onto tv.
Lewis Black - Saw him at Summerfest this year...the man is a lunatic. He wasnt supposed to cuss since it was at a festival and sponsered by a family type company...but it did not stop him..too bad it was so damn hot.
Eddie Izzard - He needs another special on HBO - I honestly dont know why or how he is so funny, maybe it is the drag or the british accent...CHOW!
Steven Wright - Better known as the dude on the couch in Half Baked....hilarious
I am forgetting one guy...I cant remember his name. Can anybody help me out at all? He is young, has long hair to his shoulders and always wears sunglasses. He talks kind of funny and stutters. Very odd, but funny. He is always on Conan and was recently on Letterman.
Anybody know who I am talking about?
