Anyone play this game? The Reviews weren't the best but some swear it's one of the deepest fighting games with a steep learning curve.
Oh and can limbs be severed?
Thanks

Instead of making dozens of threads asking about every 2-to-3 star game you find for cheap, you should just save all of that money up and buy something that you'll actually still play after an hour.
Just a thought.
No Eric, cause what you think is a 2 to 3 star game other people may like, I'm just asking for opinions the price really isn't a big deal. Why here post if you having nothing to add?Quote:

What I added was that Kengo was a 2-to-3 star game that you should pass in favor of a better game because you'll get bored of it before even an hour of play. Maybe you missed it.
I suggest Way of the Samurai. I highly doubt any other Samurai game can really compare, at least none I've seen.
I'll second that Way of the Samurai recommendation. It's one of my favorite PS2 games.
Way of the Samurai, by far. If you can pick up Kengo for, say about $10-$15, pick it up without hesitation. But for an "A" samaurai game, Way of the Samurai is the tops.
Pffft! Kengo destroys WotS..... buy Kengo unless you're a little pussy. Neither game is long, but it's much easier and more fun to replay Kengo. These jokers must've been too busy with Tekken Fag Tournament...
Kengo has its issues. However, I have never seen a game that so accurately depicts classical kenjitsu training. I mean, the game features Zen meditation, Ki breathing, Shugyo training, etc.
This game may have more of an appeal to martial arts enthusiasts than gamers. If only it stayed true to the Bushido Blade formula- it would be hella excellent...
Worth a purchase, methinks.
Kengo is one of the most played games here at my apartment at school. Everyone loves to do the single player mode with all the training and fights... and we just do loser passes the controller for 2 player and play for hours. Great game, and the custimizing is great. My only complaint is it's straying from BB, but I got over it and enjoy it greatly. I will admit though, I have not played Way of the Samurai, but I do not have the money for it now that school has started.
