I'd rather see Capcom All-Stars Live, but I'm sure CvS2 fans will be happy. It's a start, right?

I'm a little troubled by the fact that they bothered to point out that "...but the proximity of the game kiosks to the Xbox Live display looks to confirm recent rumors that the game will be playable online via Xbox Live in Japan." The key word there being Japan. I REALLY hope it makes its way over to this side of the Pacific.
Man, it would be the whole DC fiasco on the Xbox...
Pretty much my thoughts. I'm not a big fan of CVS2, but I'm glad to see that it's going online.Quote:

Great news, regardless of whether you are partial to KOF. The fact is that fighting games (2D, no less) are one of the very best and most exciting genres for on-line candidacy, yet the one with least apparent on-line plans. KOF is a great, great start.
Xbox is getting better and better everyday. :)
Rooster makes a good point.
*makes mental note to slaughter Capcom USA execs if they take out online play for U.S. version*
Capcom USA loves diabling online play.
But I have Kawaks, so I don't need console fighting games to go online. :)
it's EO, so it isn't worth shit, unfortunately..
and as someone pointed out earlier.. it's too little too late..
this could have been done on the DC.
Well, seeing as how the Xbox is broadband only, it would not be any kind of pain to access Japanese servers anyway (as it is a pain to do so on dial-up ala DC). Frankly there'd be no real reason to take it out - ESPECIALLY since MS controls the Servers and not Capcom.
