That statement's probably quite true. Since it's possible to edit data on the Xbox hard drive with a mod chip, people will most likely get their cheat on still. But as Sidez said, Sonic Team will always be able to offer patches on the client side of things. Preventing people messing up YOUR game, all that really matters.

NiGHTS GBA does look ass. AFAIK it's just the first level, the graphics are blurry, control will be poor and the music will be nasty. It's a gimmicky extra, i'd rather just play it on my Saturn than a mini watered down version.

it looks better in person, on a gba. xengamers probably took those screens from the gba-monitor thing, which tend to have a resolution different from the gba screen.

I agree with both of you. I'm sure it'll look better in person, but I'd still rather just play it on Saturn with the full games, better gfx, and much better sound. :)

If this is the full GameCube release plus that extra class, this will be the version to get. BUUUUT... I was planning on playing the game 4-player split-screen this Winter break, so I may just grab the CG version instead.

i don't really mind if there is a small amount of cheaters that keep amongst themselves, duping items and shit...

it's when they run rampant, NOLing, PKing, CKing, and duping all the fucking time that it completely destroys the game for everyone... which is exactly what happened with the PSO on DC... especially the NOLing and CKing

Looks like the Xbox version will have a 4-language translator to translate your typed text into your fellow player's language of choice. That basically makes the Xbox version the definitive choice for online play right there.

I was just gonna post that. Hell fucking yea.... this game and the XB version specifically, is getting better by the day... I might actually het it.... maybe.... someday.... It's cool though to start testing out translation systems.

Well, this sounds like it's now the best version. I was all set for the GC one, but with an extra character class and everything else aside from the GBA games (which I will miss so), it looks like I'm prepping for this one instead.

We'll see how this goes, I may go for the GC just so I don't have to wait however many extra months they feel like dragging this release date out.
