Like some others have said, if you list what you like, then maybe we can help you more. Just saying you're into everything doesn't help, since if that were the case, you should just get all three. Each system has it's strenghts and flaws, so if your tastes fall xloser to those games the X-Box does best, then you should go with that. But list some games, and we'll see.
You should also go to game sites and just search through their game previews/reviews. If you like what you see, then go for it.

Personally, I wouldn't run out to get one now, after the list of delays have been reeled off. Go to your store, take a look at the games on the shelf, and decide if you want to play any of those now, because the Box doesn't have many heavy hitters coming out this fall. Blinx looks interesting, and DoAV looks *interesting*, but those aren't really system sellers.
The xbox has alot of good games out now,but the end of this year and through next year the really good shit will start hitting the shelves for xbox.Most of which has already been mentioned on this thread,but one has'nt.DOOM 3..........As for how its doing in japan,well unless you live in japan i dont see why in the bloody hell you should give a fuck how its doing there.
Ummmm, save your money until there are enough games out for it to warrant a purchase. Also, wait until the games you want have dropped off of their 49.99 pedestal...
Since many games have already been mentioned, I'll go for the three that might not be here for a while, but when they get here, I reckon they'll make a BIG splash.
1.Preject Ego (Now known as Fable)-This looks to redefine the RPG as we know it.
2.Prehistoric: B.C.--The best graphics I've seen on a home console, but I've only seen them in magazines and online. Still, the game looks fantastic.
3.Black and White-Very popular on the PC. They are creating an entirely NEW game for the Xbox, so it plays like a console game.
Besides everything else that was mentioned--Blinx, Mech Assualt, Panzer, House of Dead 3, Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2, Brute Force, Phantam Crash, Duality, Metal Gear...the list just keeps going...
Ok, wow, thanks a lot. I am going to buy one...but in like 3 months for a few reasons. I want to wait till some more games come out and stuff, plus I have a lot of other games for DC and other systems that im looking to buy. Thanks a lot!

Whether you buy it or not isn't as important as at least playing Halo. I played the game again tonight co-op with a friend through a couple of the levels on legendary...this game is as much fun to me now as the day I first played it after waiting in the 40 degree weather for 8 hours to buy it, and then grinning like an idiot all the way home.
Blinx apparently also got a really awesome review from IGN and that's going to be in my xbox day 1. Like other people have said, you'll just have to look and see what you want. I look at the release list for the system for the rest of the year and get a huge smile thinking about how much fun alot of these games sound like. :D
