Thank you
(fuck, out another $40....)
Holy Shit!!!! Well that really sucks. I don't have the money to buy it but I'm getting it anyway. Well there goes eating for the rest of the week. :(
Well I guess $40 is a pretty good deal since it's 2 Cds.
Thought I'd dig this up since I just got mine today. Not only does it have the Drac X soundtrack with some remixes on disc 1. Disc 2 is made up of Vampire Killer MD and Castlevania X6800 soundtrack. Tre bien. :)
How is the Rondo sound? what's it equivalent to, like a Gen/SFC sound chip or better or..? I'll be getting this in a few days.
Haven't listened to it just yet, so I'm not sure. I'm assuming it's right off the Genny soundchip though.Quote:

I should have mine in a few days too. Thanks for the heads up on this.
I'd really like to get some of the other out of print CD's. *hint hint* :)
Ummm.... Isn't Rondo the PC Engine game? Anyway, the PC Engine version sounds better than anything the SNES or Genny could pull off. Well, I like the level 1 song better on the SNES, but that's just one song. Since the PC Engine can use redbook audio, it is only natural that it would sound better. Keeping that in mind, games did not have large budgets in the mid 90's, so the music is still all midi. The midi was just recorded in a pro studio on nice synths instead of being generated right there in the game system. Yeah, you still have midi drums n' guitar, but they are very nice midi drums n' guitar. :)Quote:

Oops, sorry about that... I was thinking about the MD one which is on disc two. Yeah Rondo sounds great, one of my favorite CV soundtracks, along with Symphony... which actually used alot of recycled Rondo songs. I've listened to disc two now also. The music is right off the MD and the X68000 sound chip, it sounds nice though... I'm definately enjoying it.Quote:
