Front Mission 3
So, yeah. I just got the game, and I'm about five or six missions into it. For the most part, it's quite good. Some nitpicks, I do have, but nothing major. The nitpicks are just feelings that it could be alot more than what it is, in regards to the battles.
The story seems alright so far, though the dialogue can certainly be cheesy at times. "They'll get the buisness end of my Wanzer!". Hahaha, whew, I love that one.
So does the story get more intricate and involved? Will there be points in the battles that I am forced to be atleast a little strategic? So far its been pretty straightforward, and rather easy. I want to be challeneged by my strat games damnit.

I liked the idea of it, but just couldn't get into it once I started. The "web" and email seemed really cool as well, but I don't really have a clue as to how it pans out later. Nah, don't really know what it was about it, but I just set it down one day and forgot about it. It's been collecting dust for over a year now.

I thought it was great. If it is your first time through, make sure you play Emma'a story. If I remember correctly, it is much better and makes much more sense.

Awesome game.
One of my faves on the psone.
I love the little side quests n' stuff you can do later (especially how they tie into "hacking" the 'net).
Don't even get me started on how sweet the Methane Powered wanzers are either...

I really enjoyed FM3.
I finished Emma's scenario and got about 1/3 of the way through Alisa's scenario before trading the game in. I should reacquire it one of these days.
My only complaints are that the strategy was a bit simplistic, and the faux-Internet component could have been better implemented. But still a great game overall. Why the hell Square can't get their shit together and make FM4 for PS2 I'll never know.
Z-roe: Don't worry about branching paths; if you're already 5-6 missions in, you've picked your path already.
