I first heard about this one when it made the Cover of the First ever GameGo magazine. ECM liked it alot if I recall. So I was curious what you Treasure fans thought about it? It's very cheap new now.
Thank You

I like it...but I'm not a "Treasure Fan," so I guess I don't count?
I bought it for $9.88 at CopmpUSA and my brother and I tried out the first level before I delicately placed it in my Pile of Shame ("unplayed" games).
It is certainly different design-wise. My brother remarked that it was "the most unique-looking game maybe ever." It looks like a good buy under fifteen ot twenty dollars. I hear there is only about three hours worth of gameplay in it.
It's ok. Cool idea spoiled by a major lack of gameplay. 12 boss fights does not an entire game make.
I love Treasure.
However, Stretch Panic was simply not a good game. The "stretching" play mehanic was truly unique. Unfortunately, the game is simply not fun.
I tried very hard to like it, but I can't.
I fucking hate it. It only remains in my library so I can someday say I have a complete Treasure collection.
I can already say that.... bwa ha ha ha ha.Quote:

I hate it. Treasure should've taken a lesson from Fantavision to see how to make a game out of a tech demo.
I liked the gameplay and control scheme, but as bbobb said, it's nothing more than 12 boss battles and that's it. About 2 hours of total time went into it before I beat the game.
Great idea, poor execution. It was ok for $15.

Bad. A bad bad game.
I make mine sit in the corner. Constantly.
