I beleive it's calculated through the distributors, rather than the individual vendors, so I don't see why it shouldn't. Heh, the thought of seeing that orange swirl on the Famitsu list in september of 2002 just feels right. Let's see if KoF can do it in December!Quote:

Do you think that Treasure ported Ikaruga because of the petitions and all the fans screaming for it or did they plan it all along?
If they listened to us why not ask for more?

I think they went with DC for budget reasons. Ikaruga was made entirely by 3 people. It would take more than that just to port it to PS2. They're just keeping costs down, I think.Quote:

Ikaruga- the official game of those the people might call 'hardcore'.
I predict that, by this time next year, Ikaruga will be one of those games that is 'cool' to be bashed amongst our crowd. Kinda like Treasure in general.
while ikaruga may not live up to the standards of treasure's other shooter, (we have yet to see, actually), i doubt it'll ever be cool to bash something with this kind of artwork and pure style..
people who trash treasure just make me laugh..
I dunno, honestly Ika seems more my style than Radiant. Treasure had alot more sense with this one than most comapnies. Instead of trying to out-do Radiant at its own game, they're just doing something totally different within the arcade shmup genre. Some will like it better, some will like it worse. I've yet to talk to anyone who didn't like it, and all of those I've encountered who've actually holed some real time into it seem to love it.Quote:

I've never met a person who bashed treasure who has actually played more than halfway through one of their games. It's just ignorance. In general I've found they've played about 2 levels of Dynamite Headdy and 1 of Gunstar, and maybe a level of Mischeif Makers, and made a judgement based on that.
