Robotech

Hello. How is Robotech? Does it last in the fun department? Or is it a short game?

Which version is best? When version is the worst?

anyone?

When I first started out, I foound it to be kinda lame. As I got further into the game, it began to grow on me. I actually like it now. The biggest problem I have now is that some missions are overly difficult while some are overly easy. The "defend this object/building/craft" missions are often a pain in the ass.

I have only played the XBox version using a PS2 Dual Shock.

I wish I had an Xbox so I could play my copy... :(

I've loved it since I got it, it's one of those games that you get frustrated with and put down for a day or so, then come back to it and beat the mission and wonder what the problem was. I just earned my Skull Leader skin, so I'm happy... Also theres a neat little trick you can do one you get the Armoured Veritech. It wont let you use it in ground missions, but if you play a space mission first you can use it in the ground missions. Sweet is what I call that.

Robotech = poo.

I've got just a handful of missions left to go and I give it the big metal thumb up. It's pretty much a fandisc, but that's what I was expecting and hoping for.

The LE stuff is pretty cool too.

I've got a few issues with the XB control config. It should have been customizeable. Also, I found it kind of odd that so much of the game takes place so late in the "Macross Saga" story arc. I expected it to focus more heavily on the period before the SDF-1 returned to earth.

All in all I'm very pleased.

I really like the game alot, and I'm not even really a Robotech fan...I run more with the Gundam crowd.

The visuals are very impressive, the sound is good although alot imbalanced front to back, and I like the control alot. The game does have quite a few bugs, tho, haha.

Overall, I'd recommend it. Especially if you can still get it for $36.99 at Circuit City. :)

I loved since day one... I already finish the game and earned all the medals :D . The game is fun and easy to play but like error say some mission are just pain in the ass especially the protect missions

I really love Robotech/Macross and I really really need to get a new game, and this one is number 1 on my list.
