hah, so far college is EASIER than highschool ever was, and I'm taking a engeenering class load to boot.
Well, it probably doesn't help that my high school was the most basackwards place this side of the Mississippi. Really. Idaho's the shit.Originally posted by IronPlant
hah, so far college is EASIER than highschool ever was, and I'm taking a engeenering class load to boot. Ofcourse I came from a highschool that wanted to be the best in the state so it's not that big a suprise to me. Go from 7 strait classes to like 3 a day, with a hour break between two of them. Talk about something being sweet.
"Tick-tock"
Amen to that, here it is, 5:12 in the morning, and I'm just starting to write my mid-term essay for my Government class, it's due in about 10 hours, and I haven't even slept yet.Originally posted by Freeter

I don't even know why I'm drinking this, caffeine doesn't even phase me anymore unless I drink it in toxic amounts...
omg TNL epics!
Well, its funny that this thread appears, because I'm currently in the middle of my year 12 finals. Quite frankly, I don't really care about them, because the field that I'm going into doesn't require any school marks.
After these tests, I'm gonna get a job for the next 7 months, and study music on my own. I'm then going to apply at the JMC music academy for a contemporary performance course, or an audio engineering course.
The performance one will be harder, and there's the chance of killing something that I love, However it may prove to be very rewarding, and the skills I'd learn there would be invaluable. The audio engineering course has a greater job possibility after it, but theres a greater chance that I'll not enjoy it. So I'm not sure which I'll do yet.
As far as I know, I'm getting better grades now than I have in the past three years.
This year is way too easy.
Today is the last day I have of scheduled finals for my 5th semseter here (DeVry Tinley Park). This school is so disjoint it's not humorous. Through the course of the last two weeks I've completed 4 classes worth of a semester's assignments, with me buying books for only two classes. One I borrowed from a friend I see sometimes halfway through the term (after the midterm which, without a book, I couldn't study for), another I just borrowed from the professor this Friday.
I have 5 hours until my last exam. I have 10 other halves of assignments to hand in , as well as making sure that I have sent all of my MFC programming labs to another proferssor from my myriad of "lost & I found" disks I've accumulated through the weeks.
Then I have to sleep for 4 hours to work from 10p-6a tonight, then sleep so I can take my folks to O'Hare at 2p tomorrow. Then I get to drive to St Johns, MI, and come back in the same day, a round trip of 520 miles there.
Yeah it's been a blast.
no more english, FOR EVER
that is all.
Bah. College is wacky.
Half semester math courses... what the hell is that? At least I passed the first one...
Otherwise, I haven't a clue how I'm doing.
Fun.
...oh, and let me just make it known that taking Chemistry when one's major is CS makes no sense.
...especially when one is notorious for screwing up in Chemistry.
