I loved the first series- I have the DVD. Too bad I can't download the second series. The only thing available around here is dial-up. I'll just have to wait for the second DVD.
BMW is about to release a second wave of short films they funded, that use their cars, and directed by famous directors.
Check out the trailer for the John Woo directed short, The Hostage, coming October 24th, and also look for other 2 films.

Yeah, DVD will eventuallly come out. I will try to download it at work, and bring it home to watch![]()
I just watched it, and it pretty good. Nice camera work, few of Woo touches, as slo-mo, close ups, camera shots from ground up. No white doves this time around though
Nice car chase, and BMW Roadster looked very NICE
Also, the music that was used, was from Broken Arrow![]()
Thank you guys so much for giving me the heads-up on these. They're awesome! Now I only wish I had known about this promotion earlier so that I wouldn't have to pay those eBay prices for the Season 1 DVD. Ah well.

ExcellentOff to watch the trailer !
I don't think you have to pay for the Season 1 DVD. I just e-mailed BMW and they said they would send one out free of charge. Mine should be here in a few weeks.Originally posted by Gondolin

Really? I attempted to eMail them about a week ago, but I've yet to receive a response. What was the eMail addy you mailed to? Anyway, I've already paid for, and received, a copy (containing all five short films) through eBay.
Let us know whether or not your copy of the DVD, when it arrives, contains "The Follow." There's a good chance that it won't, but if it does then I'll let my buddies know so that they won't have to pay for it like I did.

Ticker premiers today. Of course, I've already downloaded and watched it. My brief impressions:
-There's action aplenty - most of it being very nice - and I especially like all the scenes where the helicopter is shooting at Clive's Z4.
-Acting's nothing to write home about this time, and, although serving its purpose, the plot did nothing for me either.
-I'm not sure that I cared for all of Joe Carnahan's cinematography, but most of it was good (some being very good). A mixed bag.
-There were a few nice cameos.
-Clint Mansell's (!) soundtrack was A1.
Overall I'd say it was entertaining enough, the action being the glue that holds this short together, and a worthy addition to the series. Now go and download it!
