Hmm, don't think that'll be it since he came along later in the books but then again they could very well do that.

Jetman had some really interesting theories, I was never too crazy about that blasted cave anyway so I hope they don't make it a crucial part of his past as it has been.

As for the season finale, I was disappointed in it but the end was it's saving grace. It could go either way next season but I'm still peeved he didn't tell Lana yet, at this point she has GOT to know his powers, ever since that tornado incident. I'm glad that the chick wasn't the real Supergirl but her explanation was rather contrived. It's like they just falsely misled people to think it's her for higher ratings but it's all good.

Boy it's going to be a long wait until the next season.

  2. The season ending very well for me. Clark and Lex's friendship is over, which means, I hope that Lex's starts taking over his father's place as chairman of Lex-corp. clark seems to be trap in the phantom zone from what I can tell. It's sad that chloe and pete are gone for good. Hopefully they will introduce Lois Lane and other comic book characters.

  3. I just picked up Smallville: Season 2 on DVD the other day, and damn, I forgot how great Season 2 is .Hell, Season 2 we get Clark almost flying and getting spun around in a tornado ( along with Lana seeing him save her - God ,Clark is such a dumbass for not telling her by now), a new superpower - heat vision - that is triggered by him wanting to bone his sex ed teacher, Pete discovering everything about his secret, and Clark turning into a badass via Red Kryptonite. ALL in the first 4 episodes. In season 3 we got only got Superhearing,......um........oh yeah, Perry White........uhhh,a fake Supergirl...... am I forgetting anything good? Season 3 just pales in comparison to 2 IMO.

Any of you guys pick this Second season set up yet?

  4. For me, I don't want Lois popping up until he starts working at the Daily Planet. In fact, I'm still annoyed at Perry's early appearance. Him not telling Lana yet is really annoying me, because if I remember right, she does become a fashion designer or something like that eventually so it makes sense for her to go to Paris, thus I have no idea of a good way for Clark to tell her the truth after she leaves.

It's an interesting setup they have with most of the supporting cast potentially out of the picture due to one reason or another. I guess they could have had Clark go to college except he hasn't gone through senior year yet. So overall, unless a ton of new characters suddenly appear it seems unlikely that many of the older castmembers will be leaving yet.

Lastly, after thinking about the way Lex and Clark's relationship was portrayed, I found it interesting and sad at the same time in the end. I literally think that if Clark had forgiven Lex, he might have been able to keep Lex from turning to darkness, but now that he's turned him away, he's sealed Lex's fate of becomming his greatest enemy.

Yeah, I think I have to agree with you here Brotherman. The Perry story was good, but I do think Perry White and Lois are two characters that Clark should meet the first time when he gets to Metropolis. Not be acquainted with from Smallville. Next thing you know we'll have Jimmy Olsen delivering milk to the Kent family and Doomsday showing up for Coffe at the Talon....well....maybe not that...but certain things should just fall upon Clark when he's in Metropolis , not Smallville.

Well, the only actor leaving for sure is Sam Jones III aka Pete Ross, but from what I understand all of the other characters are coming back. Even Allison Mack aka Chloe. And get this, Ive heard some gay rumors that she lives, the whole explosion was a set-up, and she changes her name under the witness protection program to Lois Lane I dont believe that though as she mentioned Lois was a cousin of hers--unless she was lying....

I also agree here too.Clark and his family were the anchors that kept Lex grounded in the world of the good. Without them I think that is a pretty good catalyst for him becoming an evil son of a bitch.

Chloe, lying? NEVER! That'd be an interesting setup for "Lois" if that really happens, but is Clark THAT stupid? Wait don't answer that.

    *a few months later*

Check out the newest issue of Superman where Lois unviels a deep dark secret.

Lois: "Clark... You know we've been married for years and all... Well, all this time I had a secret of my own... You remember all those times I used to brush you off and act like I never even knew you... Well, that wasn't quite true..."

All I can say is please Cloe can live, but please not like this....

Well, I guess Lois Lane is in for sure , and I heard casting calls already went out to fill the spot. All I gotta say is the actress they get to play her better be damn fine to compete with the hotness that is Kristin Kreuk

  9. To an extent that sucks. I was hoping Lana would have at least found out the trust about Clark before he met Lois. Oh well. It's no canon anyway, so I'll just continue to sit back and enjoy the show.

  10. 'Say Hello' to little Lois Lane - newest addition to the cast of Smallville. The actresses name is Erica Durance, formerly Erica Parker and her acting credits include a well-known TNL favorite movie ----- HOUSE OF THE DEAD---

maybe thats why she changed her name <shrugs>

Who knows maybe we'll see some zombie bashing action with Clark Kent minus the 1100 blood effects and 1300 slash scenes or whatever

Anyways I have yet to see her in action but Kristin Kreuk still > than Erica Durance........
