I have no clue when this is on north of the border. I can't find airings of it at any time tonight.

The Episode is called "Crusade".
here 's the plot:
Clark (Tom Welling) returns to Smallville re-programmed as Kal-El. Intent on fulfilling his destiny, Kal-El takes to the skies to steal a powerful kryptonite crystal. Determined to save her son, Martha (Annette O'Toole) turns to Dr. Swann's emissary, Bridgette Crosby (Margot Kidder, Superman), and learns about a surprising new form of kryptonite. Meanwhile, Lois Lane (Erica Durance) comes to town to investigate the murder of her cousin Chloe (Allison Mack). Also, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) returns from Paris with a new attitude and a new boyfriend (Jensen Ackles, Dark Angel), Jonathan (John Schneider) lies in a coma, and Lionel (John Glover) faces a grim new life in prison.
Some of us East Coasters don't get to see it until 10:00 PM. There's no WB channel here so the UPN one plays the WB shows at 10:00 all week.Originally Posted by Jetman

I'm one of the "lucky" people who has WB and I just caught it.
Well, weird episode and damn Lois is a hottie in it. I came to this realization when she was in the Kent household jabbering with Martha. Two hot female actresses like Durance and Kreuk make the show that much more worthy of watching.
I was just kind of upset by how nice and neat stuff seemed to be tied up in the end aka back to status quo or ...on the way back to it. Pa Kent just BAM wakes up when Clark turns normal.I was kind of taken aback to see how fucked up he was from the cave incident with Clark, and Lex is still pretty fucked up too from his poisoning. But, I dont understand that if Johnathan's body was as physically damaged as we were made to believe from Season 3 (heart problems and all) how he could recuperate so fucking quick.
Of course Chloes alive and Lionel possibly wasnt the one who tried to off her - which did catch me off guard.
It looks like all of these pieces Clark/Kal were after are keys to the Fortress of Solitude which is kinda cool.
To me one of the worst parts about this one was Clark turning into a total pussy when his mom was talking about him flying at the end. "Its wasnt me it was Kal.""I'm earthbound".Newsflash - You are Kal dumbass. <sigh> so no more flying - and what was there looked fucking cool especially when he was taking off.
Oh, and another thing. I dont like the fact that its hinted that the entire Swann Foundation knows that Clark Kent is a Kryptonian alien. So much for secret identity's.
And Black Kryptonite?! How do they know so much about the Kryptonian physiology? and wtf did it do to him? meh, just a little too convenient of a plot device. I wouldve rather seen the writers make Clark under the influence of Brainiac and having him fight off its control or something, but instead we get Black Kryptonite and A Clark clone.
Another thing what the fuck is going on with Lana. So, shes possessed by an ancient warrior queen or some shit![]()
Well ,hopefully the writing wont be too wonky to enjoy this season. Like I said this episode was weird but .....eh.....we get hot chicks so it wasnt a total waste![]()
Oh and those of you guys who havent seen it yet - be prepared to turn your head a lot in this episode. Clark drops trow like way too much.![]()
It sounds the exact same as last season... by which I mean nothing really changes. Thus far the biggest change in the show was Pete finding out and then leaving.

2)Lana shower scene in semi-transparent silhouette. Thanks for that.
3)As for what's up with Lana, well, there were three kryptonite keys. And, unless I missed it, we only saw two, the black and the white. I think she might have something to do with the third.
4)Pa Kent waking up from being brain dead at the very moment Kal-El became Clark again seemed to make a lot of sense to me. Jor-El is obviously holding a great deal of force over them and when Ma Kent broke out the black kryptonite on Clark, I was willing to believe it also broke the "spell" cast on Pa Kent.
5)Lois is sooooo Lois. That is a good thing IMO. Fast talking, kind of nervous but playful, a smart ass, yada yada yada... Looking forward to seeing more of her. Heh.
6)Chloe lives? This could get interesting. I want to see how this plays out, especially if it wasn't Lionel Luthor that tried to off her, or whatever happened.
I thought it was a very good episode. Did not feel like it was the same old same old. I'll keep watching.
SPOILERS BELOW: Im sure everyone who wanted to see this saw it last night. If not I doubt you could resist looking anyway.![]()
I hope you are right Scourge. I would love to see some more flying, its just the way he said he was earthbound was like the writers were giving us a good "fuck you" to the watchers, on the subject. I also remember reading a spoilery interview with Gough or Millar or someone who said Clark would probably only be flying in the first episode this season.Hopefully they will change their mind because what was there was good. Especially that slow mo take-off.Originally Posted by Scourge

Forgot about that one.I wonder if that was a body double in the shower scene behind the curtain as she looked like she had some pretty big tits for a woman her size.which is awesome of course.
?? I only remember seeing him put one key (the one he stole from Lex-white) into the cave door/circle.I doubt the black kryptonite was a key. Didnt think about the Lana key thing though. Just thought her plotline was a totally seperate beast.Originally Posted by Scourge
Speaking of Jor-El, with all of his powers - how nice of him to let Ma Kent walk up in the cave and destroy all of his work with Clark/Kal. We didnt even get a peep out of him.But I still think Johnathan waking up was a little too quick and convenient.Originally Posted by Scourge
Yeah, I actually liked her character more than I thought I would. She was written pretty well.Originally Posted by Scourge
Come SON OF JOR-EL!!! I want to see young Zod in Smallville.
That episode was...Very bleh. Though the setup for the rest of the season was nice and Lois + Lana are way too hot.
I like how Clark shoved his mother in bullet time.
