If they actually show Doomsday he'll be just as fucked up as the Braniac character.
Im gonna keep bitching in this thread, because I need a place to vent my stupidity for sticking with this show and watching it yet another week, so right now Im going to apologize to Chux, and the, like, what, two other people at TNL who still watch this?
- How in the fuck did Clark go back in time, AND get back to Krypton, how in the hell did they get back, and where in the fuck were his parents and any other Kryptonians?I know this is a fictional superhero show, but come on, at least try to give your audience some semblance of an explanation in this crazy alternate 90210 DC Universe on how this went down.
And, I know its a sitcom super-hero show, but how much goofier can the dialogue get in this?
- Oh yeah, and Supergirl is gonna have Brianiacs baby?! wtf. That must have been why he was laughing so hard when she offed him.
The writing has been horrible (well more than usual), and Glover and Rosenbaum (both Luthors) have jumped ship. No more Luthors next season. They toyed with and squandered the perfect actor who could play Lex Luthor, and we only got to see him be seriously evil for a couple of episodes. Lionel? Well, they fucked him up too, so it was good to see him go. His character was horrible as a whiny, bitchy 'good' guy.
And I dont know how true this is, but Season 8 villians:
The network has announced two new characters that will be joining the cast of Smallville next season: the legendary, unstoppable Doomsday, and a female antagonist who will challenge Clark in ways never before imagined. Casting is underway for both roles.
My reaction should be a:
but for obvious reasons, its a
because it will probably be acted by Triple H in a white wig wearing a Stride Gum T-shirt

I know.
And that sucks because those are two characters I'd love to see fuck shit up in a big budget special effect laden, non-gay Superman movie. Somehow I feel because they're being 'ruined' here we wont ever see that, and future movie execs will write them off as possibilities for it because they '"sucked on Smallville"...
Ahh, well, at least in a few months Ill be able to take out my frustrations on this and behead Superman over and over with Zombie Liu Kang on my 360...
Man. I've been pretty devoted to this series, but with talks of Supergirl having Braniac's "love child" and Rosenbaum being out of the picture next season, I can't see me wanting to watch ths must longer.
Wait, are we assuming that Kara is having a kid because she passed out? The only thing Braniac said was that Lex was still a vessel and Kara would repopulate Krypton with Zod. None of which screams omgbraniacgavehertehpreggors.
I'll watch it til the end but only because I've watched the rest.
It's not Kara, it's actually Brainiac, Kara is trapped in the Phantom Zone according to the cw's description of the finale
I was talking to Bbobb about it and we decided that Maxima is the new chick villain.
This is where Im at too, I guess.
And the preggers thing was the first thing I assumed, when I saw her get nauseaus like that in the middle of the night.Well, that or a chest burster/xenomorph is on its way out. There were no signs, hints,or anything else to lead one to believe that spoiler you posted is true. It does sound less stupider than baby Brianiac so it is an improvement.
No Chloe?
With Rosembaum out for the most part, same with Kreuk...
Fail.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.
BAIL OUT
Shit, here's an idea since "ratings are down double digits" and the suits are tightening their belts:
Cut Season 8 to 13 episodes.
Call it Metropolis.
Kill everyone but Lex, Clark, Lois and Jimmy.
Let Supes embrace his destiny because now his oldest friends are all dead or gone as well as his family. And let him fly.
You know, shit we've been actually waiting for. Cutting to 13 episodes would save us all from absurd amounts of filler. That's the theory anyway. How these execs can't put two and two together and realize their audience shrinks every season because there's no pay-off in the storyline and viewers just get dragged along and exposed to more inane bullshit is beyond me.
I'm glad all these actors are pulling out. Maybe the writers will get really creative and give us what we want if they see this thing is just about wrapped up now. I somehow doubt it.
