I fail to see anything being proven by this article. It's a very basic survey (that was apparently given to some rather stupid people).

It doesn't give any details of the population sample that was surveyed. It just says "among those surveyed" which doesn't do one hell of a lot to tell us who exactly was being surveyed. I guess it just expects us to assume that they surveyed a sunstantial number of people and that they were sampled and selected from all walks of life, background, education, culture, and location. But somehow, I seriously doubt that. There's a lot of information about the study that is curiously absent from the article.

Besides, anyone who has even a rudimentary knowledge of scientific research methodology knows that you can't "prove" anything by the scientific method itself, let alone a survey. :P
