Thread: Best Versions of Games.

  1. Castlevania 4 has superior level design , better music ,better control, the 8 way whip , better bosses ,a shitload of unforgettable moments ,and it takes place in Castlevania , not some gay strip joint.

I also like Bloodlines , but it's not as good as other Castlevania's.

  2. Hah! Found the thread.

  3. NHL 94 is best on the Sega CD... cooler sound.

  4. Aladdin on the SNES and Genesis are two totally separate games...

  5. As far as the Castlevania argument goes, I will pick Super Castlevania 4 over Bloodlines any day of the week. The main reason I pick it is because it has some of the most memorable moments in any Castlevania game, and it includes my favorite Castlevania level. That would be level 8...that is the dungeon level where you fight Frankenstein at the end. That level just rocks! I love all the traps and the disappearing floors at the end!

  6. Since this is back up shouldn't we combine the two threads and make it a sticky? Just a thought because it seems like there are some similar comparisons of games going on.

  7. SpoDaddy should be banned from this thread.

  10. Tony 4 is best on Cube, you can play with a Wavebird. Who cares about the custom soundtrack feature, first of all I don't understand why people care at all and don't just listen to their stereo when they play games. Second, Tony has like 40 music tracks so if any game was made for you to listen to it's music it's Tony 4. Also, who the hell cares about online play in a Tony game, the only multiplayer fun I've ever had with a Tony game is sitting with a friend taking turns doing 2 minute runs.
    Ha ha ha!

    Okay, were to begin.

Tony 4 is best on Cube, you can play with a Wavebird.
WOW, what a great reason! First off, this is something that has nothing to do with the actual game, so it's hardly the best reason to get the GC version. Which controller you'd rather use when playing a THPS game is definetly a personal preference. I prefer the PS2's controller, only becauase I use the Dpad to do all my moves, and as we all know, the GC's Dpad is worthless.

Who cares about the custom soundtrack feature, first of all I don't understand why people care at all and don't just listen to their stereo when they play games.
The people who care about this are the people who easily grow tired of, or simply do not like the music in the soundtrack, which isn't so far fetched.

Tony has like 40 music tracks so if any game was made for you to listen to it's music it's Tony 4.
I liked THPS4's soundtrack, but that doesn't mean I like all the songs on it. I turned off more than half of them, leaving me with a very small playlist. A lot of the songs on it really do suck, especially the MuskaBeatz songs. I wouldn't mind being able to add my own tunes.

Also, who the hell cares about online play in a Tony game
This doesn't even deserve to be dignified with a response.

the only multiplayer fun I've ever had with a Tony game is sitting with a friend taking turns doing 2 minute runs.
The reason why that's the only "multiplayer fun you've ever had", is because that's all there ever was!
