Terminator 3 in 2003 - Arnold briefly discusses elements

Just a lil blurb from Ah-nuld on his upcoming Terminator flick. Haven't seen any discussions about this movie in awhile...so here's to getting the ball rolling again. Anyone excited or planning to see it? Gripes? I'll check it out simply because I've been a fan of the franchise since the original.

I guess the first thing that comes to mind is that it's a true shame James Cameron will not direct this. I'm sure Arnold can pull off this role again and I am very interested in this one. A female Terminator? I dunno it could work. Love that teaser they show for T3 but sadly no visuals from the Movie.

For the recored T2 is my personal favorite, truly amazing film.

Like most people I'm trying to expect my expectations low, but somehow I feel dissappointed in it already since Cameron isn't directing.

So what if Cameron is not on board. What the hell the man done in last 5 years that even makes him great? Titanic? Or just producing Dark Angel, which was pretty bad, and even Cameron's directed final episode was bad.

I'm willing to give Mostow a chace. He directed Breakdown, which was a very good and suspensful thriller, and submarine movie was decent.

Its good to see the film staying close to the dark nature, and I expect it to be as action packed and violent as previous two. I hope for no PG-13 bullshit, that we been plagued with in the last year. Next year will see return of R ratet action films, and I'm very excited about it.

Concept of female Terminator, while not a new or original one(they already tried smaller, but much more deadlier enemy approach in T2) is still interesting, and I want to see how well it will be executed. Arnold needs a god movie, since his last few films were terrible(but you might think differently ), so I hope for the best.

Hopefully, The new trailer will be released in the next few months, and it will contain actual movie footage. I will try to find more info, and post it here

Terminator 3: The second trailer is set to debut November 15th, which is around the same time the official site will open up more.

I have heard it actually is rated PG-13. I really, really hope that info is wrong though.

Just cuz Cameron has been laying low the last few years doesn't mean anything. Say what you will about Titanic's story and everything else, it's still a fine movie even though the story was contrived. Funny you mention Dark Angel sucking, it was only written by Cameron and directed by someone else.....just like T3.

Terminator is Cameron's baby, even more so than Arnold, he's been at the helm since conception, so it'd be the same as if a game company were to farm off their franchises to another company....but I digress. I'm of course looking forward to the film and hoping it'll be good on all accounts.

Word has it that the first trailer with actual footage will premire attached to The Two Towers. Sweetness. T3 AND a rumored Freddy vs Jason trailer along with LOTR? Excellent.
