    I personally don't like Yoshi's Island... I played a lot of it on the SNES, but there was something about it that I can't put my finger on at the moment..

    I used to think Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon was the best puzzle game ever because it has so much room for developing your skills and setting up huge chains and combos. But the drawback was always that no matter how good you were, it was extremely easy for the opponent to get out of the situation. The slowdown combined with the pauses allow the opponent to scramble around looking for just one 3 of a kind to break all your effort. But still... it was a game that you could definitely see a lot of potential for mastering. Then I played Puyo Puyo and realized that it lacks all the flaws Tetris Attack has, while still maintaining a lot of depth in setting up chains and combos. Puyo Puyo reigns supreme in my book.

  6. Yossy Island is an excellent game but not quite 10/10 material to me. Gameplay mechanics are not as fun as normal Mario but in terms of design it's unmatched.
