I seriously doubt Cave would use CPS3. If anyone wants to go with a third party platform for 2D games, they may as well use the Naomi- since as we all know, it's still kicking.

I'm guessing DDPDOJ & Ketsui could be running on the DDP hardware, but probably with something faster than the original 16 MHz 68000. Dual 68000, perhaps?

Just out of curiosity. How much is the PCB board going for right now? I found one for about 600-something at coinopexpress.com

That sounds about right. If you're lucky, you can find one for about $500-ish.

Hi Sevenforce,
that pic of the Ketsui pcb,would that by chance be the one X bought for me(it can't come soon enough),I heard he took it round your house before shipping it?Regarding the lack of the metal case,being a bit of a completest I would have liked the case as well(have to make do with the pcb and original sheets),I'am just slightly concerned about the lack of the case/fan,I take it it is not a necessity to have this,could you shed some light?Is it a unit with a built in fan?Is it possible to buy these cases seperately?

I don't think it's possible to get separate cases. It baffles me as to why some do have cases and some don't. After all, this game is only six months old.

You don't have to worry about not having a fan, though. Just get some legs, and you're good to go.
