  1. ill say Gamecube on this one. hell, even i want one, and thats saying something.

still, the PS2 will blow the market away.....

I think the Cube will do better just based on the Kid Factor. More games that appeal to kids, and thats what kids want these days is video games. So I say cube.
I'm almost positive that there are more BB owners than dial-up in suburbian and city areas, which makes up a pretty damn large number of people, all though, I can be wrong..

Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  4. If it means anything, the 17 people with the internet that I know, 16 have Road Runner, and one has Frontier Lightning Link. No one has dial up except me on Dreamcast, and that's a free account of a old friends that the phone company never shut off for some reason.

I do, but I never get one. Where's a WishHick when you need one?

One or a combination of four things is going on with him then...

    1. Lives with mom and dad
    2. credit card fraud
    3. sells drugs
    4. male whore

  6. I'm a drug selling whore mommas boy who commits credit card fraud in my spare time.

  7. I'm no WishHick, but here's your medal:

  8. I honestly think the cube will sell better. For all this talk of Splinter Cell being a system seller, outside of magazine hype, the average person doesn't seem to know about it. Yeah, it comes out Xbox first, but then it comes for the other 2 next year. Ghost Recon comes out for cube in december. Aside from maybe MGS2, I don't see anything for Xbox that'll move systems.

  9. I think the kiddie factor will do well for Nintendo this holiday season. Just because Mario Sunshine hasn't broken the 2 million mark in August doesn't mean that little Billy doesn't still want it for this Christmas. Mario Sunshine has been getting a lot of flak because of "poor" sales but that's because its target audience isn't the type that runs out and buys games on the first day it comes out. Mario Sunshine's sales are from mommy and daddy who decide to buy little Billy what they want at their own discretion.

i laugh at you for having a grasp of "mainstream reality". BTW, isn't "mainstream reality" an oxymoron?
