Thread: Which do you think will sell better this holiday season; Gamecube or Xbox?

What's cool to kiddies are the games like GTA, games that emphasize what their parents think is 'wrong', games that make them feel older than they are, and let them do things that can't do in real life, like shooting people and running them over. Sad as it may be, that's what kids are like, and Xbox certainly packs more of this than GC, that's for sure.
    That's quite true.

Since you did such a poor job in attempting to make me like a moron, I'll save my time and not return the favor.

PS: I never said the parents would be buying RE. I said the older audience would. Do yourself a favor and learn how to read properly.
Then do us all a favor by not having any children.
I destroyed every point you had, and this is your response? Sad....

    3) regardless of the upcoming lineup, it already has games that pander to 1 and 2
    4) the holiday lineup is good, and features more 'friendly' titles than XBox. Sure, Unreal and SC may be nice, but Metroid and Mario are more recognizable.
    5) It's cheap, even in bundle form.

That's why it'll win out, regardless if it deserves to or not.
GC does not have more than 80 'friendly' games (XB does) much less over 100 (like PS2 does). And $199 is plenty cheap for a console with 2 games, both of which are kid friendly. Oh, and kids don't give a shit about Nintendo games for the most part. I personally deal with 8 kids under the 'pre-teen' range on a regular basis, and all of them like sports/racing games more than anything, neither category is GC a leader in. Mario is a favotite, no doubt, but no more so than Sly, Rayman, Crash or Spyro... not these days anyways.

My prediction was destroyed by you, even though none of this has happened yet? good one.

Unless you have a time machine and are lame enough to use it to see which system is more succesful this holiday season, you have no idea what you are talking about. none of us do. thats why we made predictions. I'd tell you to quit making an ass out of yourself, but whats the point anymore.

  6. I think they'll both do pretty well. As for which one will sell more I have no idea, nor do I care.
