I earned the extend for the first time! I didn't even know it until I realized I could still play...

Ahh, it's all right. You and I have different goals. I lose
all sorts of points on boss battles and my subpar coin
chaining, but as long as I get the extend sometime, I'm fine.

775,700 - Bern-D / Valpiro 1-7

I couldn't believe it at first, but once I thought about
it, it was my overuse of bombs that helped me earn the
privilege to play 1-7. I think I used 6 bombs in 1-5 and
7 bombs in 1-6. I was that scared to die. And with some
frighteningly fast reflexes through 1-7, I made it to
the midboss.

With some more experience and fewer unneeded uses of the
bomb, I can see myself clearing the first round now.

I got up to the 2nd form of the 1-6 boss, which I thought was amazing. I'd gladly gloat more, and I do have plenty of material, but I didn't beat cigsthecat just yet...
