Why do you like your system best?

Does anyone have a particular next generation system that they prefer over the others and if so why? I was just wandering, what if every single game came out for every system and the only difference was maybe some graphics were a little better, would you still prefer that system over the others. Just curious.

I like my gamecube because i got it for free.. I'm not gonna pay for three shit consoles with shitty games...

PS2 just because I recently got it so I'm enjoying the games I never got to try before. XBox Live will probably make XBox a strong contender in a couple weeks though...and Gamecube is enjoyable, I guess, haven't really played it much lately

I have all three...I like all three. PS2 more right now, because it has tons of stuff I want to play.

If all games were out on all three systems I'd like Gamecube the best. But, as it stands I like Gamecube the least because it has hardly any games that I am even margainally interested. PS2 is the least appealing system hardware-wise, but alas, it has by far and away the best library of games. Oh the irony....



Oh yeh, and FWIW Dreamcast's library still kicks the arse of all three combined.

i cant say i really have a favorite system. it just depends on what games are out at the time that catch my interest, but if i had to go for consols souly based on what they can do i guess i would have to say Xbox. I love how you can upload your own soundtrack and that is a godsend for those horrible extreme sports game soundtracks.

That's how I feel right now, SMS was the last game I got and I didn't even finish it, just got enough shines to beat it and now it is put away, never to be played again

Well, I love my PS2 WHy? Because it has most of the games I like, and want to play.

Would I choose Cube over PS2, if they have every game coming to both of them? Yes and No. Yes - Because Cube's version usually have improved graphics. No - Because of Cube mini-dvds, that ARE limited in the how much data can be stored(very noticible in Eternal Darkness very compressed cgi ), and lack of 5.1 sound support.

Would I chose Xbox over both? Yes - Even though I dont like controller(Not S), it have better graphical capabilities, 5.1 sound support and Hardrive saving !
