I haven't played Card Fighter's Clash or any other video card game(except in FFVIII) but being a Phantasy Star fan, this game intrigues me. I hope it has cards of classic Phantasy Star stuff as well as PSO. And hopefully it will have a decent offline mode.

they never said anything about it being online. they just said it would be networked. the game is meant to be played in area's like cars. you would have a LAN with your GameCubes and BBAs. and use the mini screens that Nintendo had at E3. oh, and if you don't own a NGPC, you should buy one for Cards Fighters Clash alone. Match of The Millenium is a much better fighting game then Capcoms version of the game. the Metal Slug gsmes are cool, and you have a good Sonic on there. and there's still a ton of more good shit on there too. everyone here should own a NeoGeo Pocket
I agree that the NGPC kicks ass. SNK vs Capcom is possibly the greatest portable game ever. I passed on Card Fighter's Clash when it came out but I plan on getting it some time even though I have no idea if I will like the genre.

CFC is indeed that good. I personally didn't expect to like the game, but I tried it on a lark and I fell in love with it. It's really fun and massively addicting.
If this PSO Card game is not coming out for GBA then someone else should come up with a CFC-style game for GBA. Maybe Playmore can make CFC 3 for GBA? That would be brilliant...
ps. Sonic for NGPC is outstanding. It's my favourite 2D Sonic game. The addition of the puzzle pieces was a brilliant idea and gives the games tonnes of replay value.
