I'm on a cable modem and the bandwith is always changing with a max of 10mbps...always 100k/s upload though.

Pitch, there's nothing to worry about. It looks fine.
I am on DSL that in theory has a maximum downstream of 1.5Mbps and an up of 128kps . In practice, I rarely if ever see downloads over 500kbps.
It's all about cable for me. I love the super quick d/l speeds, and the super fast web surfing. I pity those with 56k.

i dont know what my speed is i dont understand Mbits,kbps, Kb/s, KB/s...
But i can download usally 178 KB/s - 250 KB/s, however i did one of those broadband.. test and says 800 kpbs, to 1.XX Mbits.. so i dont know if I'm downloading to my true broadband potential.. or downloading really slow,.
