Thread: Pacman and Shinobi Movies on the way

  1. Pacman and Shinobi Movies on the way

    from www.Hollywoodlitsales.com ,

Mind Fire Entertainment has baught the movie rights of shinobi from sega. It is expected to have a $40 mil. budget and a 2004 release. Mindfire also bought TV rights as well. Financing is being sought through foreign buyers.

Crystal Sky bought film rights to the popular 80's video game Pacman from game developer Namco and Japanese distributor Gaga. No writer or directed is attached.

Both have great potential to make a great film, though theirs a good chance of them turning out terrible.

  2. Well Pac Man one doesn't really interest me but man that Shinobi movie has POTENTIAL and it needs to live up to it!

  3. Well, I dont know about Pac Man movie, but Shinobi movie sounds good to me. I love ninja movies, and since there are not many of them, so I will take any new one happily! Plus it will have moderate budget 40 mil, so we can expect some neat stuff done !

Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  5. Pac Man supposed be all cgi adventure film, simular to Shrek and Monsters Inc. Shinobi is live action action/adventure with 40 million budget

  6. speaking of ninja movies...Sho Kosugi is the greatest ninja actor of all time.

Revenge of the Ninja...best ninja film ever, when I was around 5 or 6, my dad taped this movie and I must have atleast seen it 50 times. Too cool.

shit, I did some info search on Sho Kosugi and I found out that they (him and his sons) helped in the making of Tenchu. He and his sons participated in the motion capturing of the two playable characters.

    groovy.
