I bought a mint copy of Gearbolt off ebay for $20 about 3 weeks ago. I don't think it's GunCon 2 compatible.

I am sure that Project Titan, however, is not compatible with GunCon 2. I found a cheap GunCon 1 at Game Stop so I'm covered there.

Can anyone cofirm the compatibilty issues between the Guncon 2 and Elemental Gearbolt?

This may seem like a dumb question, but is there some kind of lockout preventing the use of a Japanese Guncon 2 on a US PSone/PS2?

I'm pretty damned sure EG won't work with a GC2, If my point blank 3 won't there is no chance some third party game will. PSX games don't read the USB port used to hook up a GC2.

And yes, there is a territory lockout on GC2, so a JGC2 won't work on a US PS2.

Japanese Guncon 2's work fine on US systems, and with US games.

EG definately doesn't work with a GC2. I've said that a couple of times btw .

I can't speak for all of them, but Vampire Savior works with the Guncon 1.
