Thread: Using my GunCon in S-Video

  1. I thought that was already said in this thread?! or maybe it was the other GunCon 2 thread. either way Burg, it's yes.

  2. Then what the *hell* is the point of a GC2?

  3. I was questioning that myself, then I remembered it's USB man and that's like so modern.

  4. Sorry about the lockout thing, I was misinformed.

As for the usefulness of the GC 2, it has more buttons & a d-pad, for whatever that is worth. More importantly to me, since it is USB, I can still have my PSX controller hooked up to use as a pedal for TC2, which is very cool in my book.

I do agree that it is pretty goddamned mindless to make "innovations" to the design that make it incompatible with all of your older games. I mean, did they forget that the PS2 was backwards compatible? It really sucks to play TC2 & get in the mood to play my other gun games & have to unhook the GC2 to be able to play EG or Point Blank 3.

I think I'm having the same problem you are, but since this is the madcatz LG, I think I'm screwed!
If it's an HDTV Wega, you're outta luck. I saw a pelican gun that's supposed to work with HDTV, but as I don't have a PS2, I haven't tested it out...

  6. To get my Time Crisis 2 and GunCon 2 to work with my Svideo Sony Trinitron all I did was plug the yellow jack thing into the video out on the TV. Works like a charm even if I am playing via S-video
