I went and crossed the threshold. I bought my first MVS game (Last Blade... $20)

I have a feeling that this is gonna become a real big drain on my money.

Now I just need to get a cabinet, and I am set.

Anyone know of anyone selling cabinets on the east coast with reasonable prices?

I haven't bought any cabs lately, but I do check out prices when I see them for sale. In my experience, the best deals can be had at small convenience stores which change owners frequently and own the equipment. I got an Exerion cab for about $40 from a corner store, but I've seen specialty stores ask $250 for similar cabs.
Arcade equipment is generally extremely overpriced, especially considering the lack of demand and poor return on investment.
Auctions and clearing houses are good too. I once found a deluxe Turbo Outrun cab in excellent shape for $50, but I had to pass it up because I had no way of moving it. It turns out that the cost of storage is becoming greater than the value of the older machines, so it's a buyer's market for those that know.
