the Devils are putting people in front of the net, and the Ducks arent shooting. thats why the Devils are winning.

...and because theyre a better team.

I watched most of their games and I feel that the Ducks definitely earned getting this far... but they have not played a team like the Devils or a goalie like Brodeur yet. Cujo, Turco, and "Rolonandez" are not the same as Brodeur. But still, full credit to the Ducks for knocking off the Stars and Wings.. and to a lesser extend the Wild (I think the Wild were just out of gas by the time they got to the third round though). They are a good young team with some great players. They may be in a bit over their heads right now though.

We'll see what happens in Anaheim though. As much as the Devils have dominated in the first two games, if Anaheim wins the next one then this could yet be a close series!!

Simply put but true...

The Devils defence isn't letting the Ducks shoot or drive to the net though.

How would that affect wins? Roy's GAA numbers are nowhere near the best, and Brodeur only needs 3 regular season shutouts and 4 playoff shutouts to pass Roy in that category. Roy's impressive stats are his 551 regular season wins (187 to go) and his 4 Cups (1 to go). The only record of his Brodeur will not likely reach is playoff wins.

How's Giguere playing?

Once Ottawa, and Toronto are out, I lose interest in the playoffs. Moreso this year, because it was a promising set up that we might actually get a UNIQUE champion.

But instead the one team that I didn't want to win it out of 4 are going all the way. I tire of hockey for now.

its awfully easy to get shutouts when there's very little shots, no rebounds and the shots that are taken are from VERY non-scoring places. and rhydant put it well. so next time please try not to insult me my photoshopping pictures trying to explain something i already know.

and andrew, i think giguere is playing good. he's not playing GREAT like he was and thats obviously what he needs to do to win (meaning more shutouts). although its awfully hard to win when your team is putting up gooseeggs on the other end. i though he had a right to get pissed last night. id be pissed at my team to if they performed as bad as the ducks have been.
