Better NJ than the Ducks. NJ has a much better team as proven in a few of those games.

Funny how seeing a team I hate win the Cup still makes my hair stand on end.

It's going to be a long few months till the season starts up again.

What doesn't matter is who didn't win the STANLEY CUP. Like Yoshi said. That's all that matters. Winning! I think Giguère would swap tropheys with Brodeur right now, wouldn't you? Being the Most Valuable Loser is meaningless. Anyone would agree.

Giguère was great in the first three rounds but he was lousy in the Finals. He was exposed time and time again by the Devils. Patrick Lalime was much harder for the Devils to score on. Giguère won it because the media decided he was a "story" (oh god I am quoting Don Cherry! Barf! He;s right though...). Brodeur had 3 shutouts in the Finals. 7 in a playoff year. This is his 3rd Cup (+ a Gold). His performance speaks for itself.

Personally, I think that Brodeur or Niedermayer should have won...... but I don't care becuase they both won the GIANT SILVER TROPHY! Woooooohooooo....

Rupp was incredible. For a rookie to step into the Finals and play so wonderfully... to get the Cup winning goal and 3 points in a Gam 7. It's just amazing (reminds me of Brylin in 95).... He's a hero!

Yeah, he played really really well. You could tell he was as nervous as shit too. Like every time they showed him on the bench in game 6 he would be biting his nails or something, and on the ice he would act and seem like he was watching what he was doing making sure not to fuck up and such.

I would know because I just went through the same thing in rugby last season
