Anyway, I'll have to go with Outrun as my first pick. I suspect I'd like OutRunners as well, but have never had a chance to really check it out.
Outrunners was all about the multiplayer. The Solo action wasn't nearly as good.
I'm ashamed to say I've actually never played Turbo Outrun![]()
Would you consider DOOM to be a Sprite-Scaler? Considering DOOM 64 was the first DOOM thats actually created in 3D.

Doom has sprite scaling abviously, but it's not the basis of it's graphics. I call it a raycaster, since that's the core of the engine, but whatever. Close enough. It's got sprites that scale, and no polygons.
