Thread: Did anyone just see Sopranos *SPOILERS*

  1. Did anyone just see Sopranos *SPOILERS*

I can't fuckin believe Ralphie got killed, by Tony nonetheless. I was expecting it to go down sooner or later but between Ralph and Paulie. What a good episode, I wasn't even expecting it. It sucks that one of the two most entertaining characters on the show is gone now though. Looking at next episode's preview, it seems like a war between New York and Tony's crew may go down. Now THAT would be something. I hated most of this season so far, but this episode was definately great.

    This topic fucking sucks

  2. Ralphie had it coming for a long time

Too bad I dont have HBO anymore, so I cant watch this season.

  3. Honestly you are not missing much, besides this episode and maybe the opener, it has overall been extremely boring. The people who just got into Sopranos this season are probably wondering why anyone even likes it at all.

  4. Great episode.

Easily one of the most disturbing/graphic ones they've showed for quite a while.

Ralphie shouldn't of fucked with Pieomi...

  5. Yeah, it was a freaking awesome episode. Ralph was a jerk on the show, but Joey Pants played him SO FUCKING WELL, and he was definitely one of my favorite characters along with Tony and Paulie.

Honestly, I really wish they'd do something and kill off Janice, Tony's irritating as fuck sister. God, that woman is vindictive and annoying, and I was really, REALLY hoping Ralph would do her in before he got whacked. *SIGH* Oh, well, looks like things are REALLY going to get interesting in the last several episodes of the season. Looks like Tony's crew may be hitting the mattresses

And I disagree about this being a poor season so far, we only view it as such because the previous 3 seasons have set such a ridiculously high bar for the show to live up to. Personally, I've loved all the great character development going on this season, with it starting to pick up like this for the last 1/3. It's as it should be, lengthy string of character development episodes followed by massive goings on in the season's climax and denoument. But those are just my personal feelings.

Two additional observations about the episode, however...

    1. I don't assume Ralph was the one who torched the horse shed, because Paulie could just as easily have done it. Remember, Tony said not to touch RALPH, but he didn't say anything about Ralph's belongings and Paulie may have had some guys in his crew set that horse shed ablaze in order to get back at Ralph for playing that prank on his mother earlier in the episode (which was, BTW, hilarious).

    2. When Tony was strangling Ralph and cursing him for destroying "a beautiful, innocent creature", I think it had a dual meaning. He wasn't just talking abotu Pie-O-My, I think he was also referring to that stripper he beat to death last season. Further compounding my belief in this is when Tony was looking at pictures of her at the Bada Bing at the end of the episode.

    Just some thoughts
    omg TNL epics!

Personally, I like Ralphie better with no head. And Rag, you read too much I would have never noticed that thing regarding the stripper, all though you've convinced me of a double meaning.

  7. Ragnarok makes several good points, and yeah I know the season isn't THAT horrible, it is just a letdown for me because they even had extra months to work on it and make everything perfect, and it seemed kind of like a half ass job in some episodes so far.

PLEASE let Janice be killed this season I agree she is annoying as fuck and has been since she first came on the show. I thought Paulie was the one who torched it as well when I first saw the episode and it could be, all I know is the season is finally getting good and I am actually heavily anticipating next episode, just like I used to during the last three seasons. All is good...

That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.
