well, as for the combat, i haven't read anything about being repetitive, jus this little part...
"The only qualm we have with the combat, is that you must repeatedly engage in the same battles. It's meant to be faithful to the previous Metroids, where enemies reappear after you leave a room, but with the increased difficulty and complexity it can seem unfair at times. It's debatable, however, and once you've honed your skills enough it shouldn't pose a major problem."
well, that's classic Metroid if you ask me.
and Andy, how can the game not having any multiplayer modes be such a big deal for you? Metroid has never had any multiplayer, so why should this one? seems to me like you don't seem to understand that this is still a Metroid game, just viewed from a first person perspective most of the time. it's not a FPS.
oh, and it's nice to see that they didn't end up using Tommy Talorico or whatever the fuck his name is for the music.
