It's a nice gesture, but the whole leaving the copying thing for a later date smacks of inefficiency or irresponsibility. Your choice.
Sonic Team announced that gamers who hope to get an updated version of Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for the GameCube will be able to this coming December.
By sending them the game disc, receipt, serial number and access key directly to Sega, people can have a new copy of the game that fixes some problems regarding disconnection from a broadband connection.
Unfortunately, this patched up PSO will not take care of the item copying problem that people have found. Sonic Team claims they are leaving that for a later date.

this was known for a while, but atleast now we know when it's happening. anyways im hoping this goes down in the US. i have a japanese BBA, and i've had the system disconect on me for no reason, causing me to lose my weapon, and everything in my inventory that wasn't equiped or in the bank.
ahve to agree with you there, but i haven't been aware of this happening in the US. isn't this the only reason the japanese and US servers were split?Originally posted by burgundy

The dupe is in the US version too.
It's more difficult I believe, and has a high possibility of corrupting your save I believe.
How 'bout Sonic Team offer us up something non-PSO related

Receipt?! NOW they announce this?! How long do they think most people hold onto their receipts? This is ridiculous. There's an off-chance I might have the receipt floating around my room, but if it's not I'm gonna be bitching my ass off on the phone if they refuse my copy.
More evidence to back my claim that MMORPGs on consoles just don't work.![]()
