I'll be on all weekend.
Isn't it convenient that by the time your one-year membership of Xbox Live ends, Halo 2 will be coming out?
As for me, there's not enough compelling reasons for me to spring for an Xbox, broadband, and the Live service, considering that I spent nearly $500 on PS2 stuff this month. I'm sure the games are fun, but it's just not time for me to pick it up now. I will say that Capcom vs. SNK 2: Broadband Online is VERY compelling, but not enough to go X.
Nonetheless, enjoy your online experiences, everyone!

Alright guys I just got back from buying the kit, I will try and set it up and here's hoping it goes smoothly. I will post my gamertag when/if I get it working

You should have made one of the choices, yes was a beta tester.

Anyways, I need an adaptor or wait until I get a new tv for Christmas before I can actually go online, unless I run a cable through my house...which I won't,
A lot of people can't get on today (I can't), I called up tech support and they said their servers were overloaded. I think there is more to it than that, but let me know if you can get on today.

I got on and played a little Unreal Championship today. The setup is extremely easy. The only thing I had to do was plug the network cable in and enter my name, gamertag, etc. It automatically just detected my network connection.
While playing, the first thing I noticed was the lag. Some of the time it would seem alright, and other times it was almost unplayable. Not good. Another thing is that you could barely hear some people, while you could hear other people very clearly. Hopefully they will have this ironed out soon. I'm gonna go try some Mech Assault.
First off I think that UC is probably a little more bandwidth intensive than the other XBL titles currently out, and second I just don't think quite enough people have UC yet, as opposed to the 30,000 people that already have Moto GP. Because of this, finding a match with enough low-ping players is difficult right now, in a few weeks though I bet lag will be less of a problem ( maybe not so much with the 16 players matches, we'll see ). Liking it so far, but where the hell's the custom audio support?! Also, I can't play Moto GP until Monday since UPS f**king lost my retail disc. Why did MS use UPS to mail a CD anyway? I'm wondering if it isn't because the US Postal Service is in bed with AOL?Originally posted by Skelator

I might get it eventually. CvS2 is just too much to pass up online.
Right now, no, but these two aforementioned games will make me change my tune.Originally posted by mattvanstone
When PGR 2 comes out, I'll highly consider it.
