If you play a Saturn and enjoy good multiplayer battle games,
do yourself a favor and spend the $? it'll take to play VATLVA.
The game consists of RC style cars in an arena that scales in and out depnding on proximity from one another (some serious scaling going on at times). Up to six players can participate, or the computer can take control of the others.
Most vehicals have a strong weapon and a rapid fire weak weapon. Weather or not your firepower is up front or from behind depends on the vehical. One craft can even lay mines.
Some excellent design went into this and I'm supprised more people haven't given it attention.
I once came upon a UK site proclaiming VATLVA to be the most fun Saturn game ever released. If I'd played it more I might have to agree, but unfortunately I moved and packed up my Saturn stuff shortly after obtaining my copy.
It really plays like one of the games from the old days

btw, in the control scheme select screen, some of those configurations seem to be completely inoperable. They provide a config for steering with the shoulder buttons, ...I had trouble, at least. 'n don't forget to use the brake/ and reverse.

But I did find it on sale for $10 and under at three stores so it should not be hard to come by. I may pick it up one day. It sounds interesting. I like the name at the very least.

sggg, about 6 months ago when I bought my copy I'd found a site with a nice review including screen-shots, but as you've reported I've recently been able to find almost no info about this game on the net.
I was hoping more people around here might of had it so some opinions and impressions could be shared. Then maybe this would be a "VATLVA Thread"
