Thread: Sketchbook Drawings of Female Characters

  1. Sketchbook Drawings of Female Characters

Others have posted some of there stuff, and while I'm not trying to shadow Cigs, I thought I'd do the same, since most my characters are "video game'ish" in nature, and y'all might be interested. These were drawn in my philosophy lecture, which is a testament to how riveting *that* class is. -anyhow, let me know what you think...I especially like the gun-totin' gal, and the weird elfish one...I may try coloring them without inking first, like I normally do (I was inspired by Kamui's work). Edit: I made a mistake in scanning, and that's why all their the tips of their feet are missing.

  2. Very nice.

Though the left hand of the girl in the first pic looks a little weired.
"I see the world didn't end yesterday."

    "Are you sure?"

  3. Girls!!yeah,i like.
The third one looks a bit familiar..Any inspiration?
    Damnit!!GEO!!!!!

  4. Well, nothing in particular that I can think of, but, the dual-gunned, big-breasted army-girl thing, with twin dangling forelocks, seems like maybe a few too many cliches working together at once Mostly, I just wanted to draw a busty gal with suspenders holding up her pants, (ala Tifa from FF7), but, it looked pretty dorky until the suspenders seemed useful, which then led to a whole soldier motif.

  5. The second and third ones are great, especially the third. You've got a great sense for detail. The persective on the guns is dead on- nice work. Although the other girls need nosejobs.

  6. Hey, not all girls have little anime button noses...I happen to like those (like in drawing) kind of noses. -but, thanks for the input! I like the 3rd one too, I think I'll color it.

  7. Just to clarify: I was most definitely not suggesting anime noses.

  8. Heh, fair enough.
