This movie was classy, and I mean that in every way except the actual definition of the word. The videogame footage was an instant laugh for me every time, and the horrible inconsistancy in action and setup during that huge kill everyone scene was beautifully bad. My favorite scenes came during the actual house when they tried to cram all the acting, relationships, and suspense into a fifteen minute period and failed masterfully in every way.
When that guy with the long hair looked like he wandered into an after-school special and was doing his best to pretend he was acting about being sad, and how he failed, and how no one understands him which caused him and the dark-haired female to start sucking face... I knew then, more then ever, that not only did they have no fucking clue what the hell they supposed to be doing but that I was equally lost. I'd have to say that scene was my favorite, followed by the bit on the boat where the fisherman with a hook for a hand gives the topless blonde female a cross necklace and all at once a million voices screamed out in terror and were suddenly silenced at the horror with which these pathetic excuses for actors delivered their lines.
I am so buying this when it comes out on DVD.If you still have it you could do what I did and use CloneCD to create a virtual CD-ROM and load the disc like that to run it through PowerDVD or some such program. At least, I think it was CloneCD... someone else installed it so I can't remember exactly right now.Originally Posted by Despair
