Ratchet&Clank= really friggin good

Now this is a good game,i have only played a few worlds but it is great.the weapons are really good,graphics and sound all top notch.i don't really play that many platformers unless they sound really interesting.i am glad i picked this one up.So far my fave weapon is the Glove of doom with shoot lobs the Eggs of doom that hatch into little robots of doom and runnaround looking for the nearest enemy to blow up.super fun.get it.its good.

The game itself looks very cool, but the character design is complete ass. The little robot dudes are total rip-offs of The Iron Giant and the character with the ears you play as looks retarded. I like the idea of all the different guns, however. I might have to rent this...

I agree. I posted a topic a while back regarding this game. Sure, I can see the character design issues, but in today's (esp. USA) platformers, isn't that usually going to be an issue? I guess it's not much of an issue for me since I don't really give a shit about how cute the character is I'm playing as, so long as the gameplay, look and feel of the game are enjoyable. The game is fantastic and gets progressively better. Sleeper game of the year.

Sweet! I got this game as a surprise birthday present about a week ago and I'm glad to know that when I have a chance to play it, I'll have a good time (right now, I need to finish Vice City first).
