Thread: Enclave Deal

  1. Enclave Deal

Just ran across a deal for Enclave for $16.14 plus shipping which you can find here at Playcentric.com...

I'm still sitting on the fence regarding this game though as it will be deposited into my pile of shame for a while until I clear some other things out. Is the game worth $20 shipped? Opinions please

  2. Well, Even with the flaws it has, $20 is pretty good deal for it. It does have very good graphics, characters and monsters are very detailed and designed well. Music is also very good.

The game's problem is in lack of checkpoints and when it combined with less than stellar melee fighting engine, you have a problem. There also plenty of traps during levels, some of which deadly, and they will force to to restart quite often. Good thing that the game allowed for alternative control scheme, otherwise Right Analog Press to Jump would have made it completely unplayable.

  3. The game is easily worth $20. The flaws pointed out by Despair (and others previously) do exist, but the gorgeous textures, complex level design, and overall immersion factor win out. Yes, there are some frustating points, but if you at all like the pure medieval fantasy theme, you'll get more than your money's worth.

    I woudn't mind an Enclave 2.
    "Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"

  4. Buy it, now. An excellent game, despite the minor flaws.

  5. I concur with the others. Enclave IS a flawed game, but it is a worthy purchase at twenty dollars. Buy it and hope for a sequal that fixes the problems of the first.

  6. Why is it so cheap there? Or should I just order one and not look the gift horse in the mouth?

  7. It can be found pretty cheap just about anywhere now. I think its $22 used at Gamestop now.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!
