since everyone in the house was asleep last night, i had to turn the volume down in mechassault. that's when i noticed a weird noise coming from my s-controller. it's hard to explain...during light vibrations the controller would create this "electric" spazzing noise like it's struggling to vibrate the controller. during huge explosions it would vibrate just fine with no odd sounds coming from it.
i don't remember the last time a controller made funny noises.
whoever has mechassault, pick out the Uziel mech and a random stage and use the charge up weapon. the controller should make a noise at low vibrations, and stop during the high ones. don't forget to mute the tv. or perhaps any other game will work.
i hope i'm not the only one. thank you. if i am, guess i'll make micro$oft send me another one.
My Dualshock2 makes a similar noise, so I doubt you have anything to worry about. I think it's just making that noise because the innards are vibrating a specific frequency (eg; buttons vibrating around the edge of the plastic casing.)
