Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets *official*

Since Mr. Potter is strangely missing from this topic board, I'll have to go and make one then. Who's going to see it? I plan on seeing it maybe next week or perhaps Thanksgiving weekend if my little cousin wants to go.

I read the book and it's got more action than the first story since the Sorcerer's Stone had to introduce to us a lot of things. I never thought I would like Harry Potter but I guess there's a little bit of wonder and curiosity in these stories that got me hooked. I haven't read the third book yet, but I will after watching this movie.

Hmm personally I'm not sold on the Whole Harry Potter thing, though I understand many people are.

Would I enjoy this if I've never read the books or seen the original Movie?

Perhaps not as much as if you've at least seen the first movie. You'd miss out on a lot of the background story, I recommend checking out the first movie and if you're not bored to death of it, then Chamber of Secrets should be good (I've only read the book so far but reviews say the movie is pretty faithful).

Ill probably wind up seeing them. The first was a good movie, and this is supposed to be better.

I'm by no means a Harry Potter fan, but I've seen the first movie and I saw the 2nd last night. Sorcerer's isn't nearly as good as the first.

i'm also going to see this movie. however, not anytime soon, seeing as how every line i've seen for it goes on for blocks. i'll wait til things settle down.

ps - i thought the final scene at the end of the first movie was pretty intense, especially for a family movie.

Eh, it was marginal. better than the first movie (by far), but if i never saw it again i wouldnt be sad.

read the books, theyre a lot better.

I caught the first hour or so of the first one last night on HBO and I actually thought it was good, still pretty corny but it is kid oriented after all.
