oh yeah i forgot...i love multiple functions mapped onto one button.....ass. my inability to dodge is caused by the bunk ass control setup for it....not me. some say tap the button...some say glide the button....i say make it a seperate fucking button and make it easier. but noooooooo....you have to finesse it. bullshit.

no, it's 1 = 2, since according to your post, your inability to dodge therefore means the game has a shitty control setup

anyway, I think its hard to dodge during boss fights because you tend to unconciously get a little tense particularly during that specific fight, which was Really Freaking Cool

Look at it as a blessing, the game is forcing you to get good at the controls before you have to face some of the later nastiness...

no.....its not a blessing. its bullshit. im sick of having to adapt to shitty cameras in my platformers....bullshit drone cars in racers and crap control schemes that map more than one thing to a button. we must make a stand against this injustice!

Just tap that button and I can dodge at will. Wish I knew that when that plant boss was whupping my ass.

Now my one and only gripe with this game has been resolved, and I'm back to thinking it's damn near perfect.

I'd love to have this soundtrack on CD. The music is incredible.

i finally started encountering metroids.. i hate the damn things..

and i also finished off that rock boss and got the spiderball, which, naturally, unlocks areas all over the game..

and this game is freaking huge.

you need to also be pushing left or right to dash its not just taping the B button

and its not really 2 functions

think about it all the dash is is a quick jump to the left or right
and its mapped to the jump button your combining 2 things to do something new (pushing on the analog stick and taping the jump button gives you a quick jump to the left or right)


what the hell is going to come next from you guys

and the ice boss is fucking cool

a nice challange a bit frustrating but i loved it, took me 2 tries to beat and rolling into a ball is a much much much easier way to dodge
