Oh, the other symbol puzzle. For the spiderball room, there are two at the tops of two of the pillars facing the wall, and two others are hidden inside the wall decorations that can be blown up with Super Missiles.

i've already done that puzzle, do you have to do it again to re-enter the sun chamber? right now vines are blocking the entrance. so i tried to enter the sun chamber from the sun tower but the spider rail is blocked by 4 symbols, 2 of which i found easily.

thanks mechdeus, believe it or not that was the first time i got stuck and it was a pretty simple puzzlewell i made it to prime tonight, one bad mutha so far. hopefully i can beat it tomorrow.

any tips on beating Metroid Prime? I've fought the bitch at least 10 times now, but I can only seem to get it's health half way down then die. I'm just using the same beam that it changes color too. any tricks to killing it off quicker, super missles dont seem to do much.

Do you have the Wave, Ice and Plasma upgrades? They help a LOT.
Also, don't rush, and don't get reckless when fighting MP's first form. It's very pattern oriented, so if you see missiles to the right, dodge left. Does the bull charge always nail you? Roll up and hide in the grooves in the floor. It's attacks are pretty vicious, but ALL of them have a significant flaw that can be exploited, if you just read the moves.

I finally got this game and started playing a little bit, but are you really telling me that you can't strafe, and that you're forced to turn in this fashion (you know what I'm talking about) the whole game? I can't say I really like these controls so far. =/
Plus I seem to get sick when playing this game, alot more so than with other first person games. Probably cuz it's a first-person adventure game as opposed to a shooter, with alot of emphasis on platforming and exploration. Unfortunately this really puts a damper on things.
I really wanna like this game, but I don't know. *sigh*

Search, Nintendo Power all the way. Stay faaaaaar away from anything Prima.....
