Here are some highlights of the interview:
-The "zapping" feature introduced in RE0 will be in RE4 too, except you will control Leon and someone from Umbrella.
-The game is in full 3D, and will feature limited first person elements
-There will be four new enemies in this game, and more Tyrants.
-The game will take place anywhere between one day and one week after Code: Veronica.

i don't really have much to say because i don't like the genre, but i won't pull a despair.

Wow, what a radical departure from the rest of the series. Capcom doesn't lie! Code Veronica aside, if you've played one, you've played em all. It might be worth picking up if it brings the series to a definitive conclusion.

He probably meant storywise, but I'm just guessing. I mean how much more can they do with this series? Time to stick a fork in this franchise.

What Andy said. In that IGN video it seemed like he was shooting at some black fog that had tentacles coming out at the end. Only 4 new enemies?

That interview seems rather...odd...Perhaps it's just me. The internet can do such things to one over time.

Does seem pretty intersting, hopefully this installment takes a significant step forward in terms of plot development and story resolution. I mean, for pete's sake, the first 3 games in the series, and RE Online whenever it comes out, all take place in Raccoon City and the surrounding area.

Hopefully this starts taking the series in a bold new direction.
