Any idea where I can get edit files from? I haven't fired up my Nexus Memory Card as of late and wouldn't mind taking a look at some of the edits out there
And to think I almost sold this game....
Indeed.

If they aren't there, check out the "Beginners FAQ" for Fire Pro Wrestling D over at www.gamefaqs.com
That should have plenty of links to edits for you.
If those don't work out, I'll check out my "Favorites" folder when I get home and hook ya' up.
Hey:
Misawa is and always has been a fat bore whose fame mainly comes from his willingness to take head drops.
I'm suprised to hear that the Undertaker gets Criticals--bummer. I can get them consistently with submission experts like Royce Gracie and Kiyoshi Tamura, and often with big strikers like Igor Vovchanchyn and Ernesto Hoost.
kidnemo, by not using Edit mode you are missing out on FirePro's strongest feature. Make an Edit of yourself and you'll see how much fun it is--PaCrappa was sold on D when I showed him the Edit I made of him. I'll have to make one of Master...

I used to mess around in the edit mode in the first GBA Fire Pro game all the time.Originally posted by Technosphile

I've just messed around in a few of the menus and figured I didn't want to spend the time to learn what everything translates too.
I'll just practice my Curryman instead!
*Taker is poop btw*
I'm a recent Fire Pro convert - I started out with GBA Fire Pro 2. The Training Dojo is what got me into the game. I couldn't for the life of me figure out the timing before I had the help of the trainer there. I've had quite a bit of fun in the edit mode, and I've unlocked a good number of the wrestlers. What I like most about the game is the sheer variety of match-ups you can create. If a fighter or wrestler you'd like to use doesn't exist in the game, you can create him or her, and it's not too hard to create a character that's shockingly close to what you had in mind (my Tina Armstrong edit comes to mind).
But is it just me, or is the timing in Fire Pro D completely different from that in the GBA Fire Pros? I've tried out D for a bit and I couldn't win a grapple to save my life. I'm surprised so many people got into the series before a training mode ever existed, really, with the pickiness of the timing. Ah well, I suppose I'd get the timing in D down if I left the GBA version alone for a while.
Yea, the timing is completely different between the GBA FP and D.
In the GBA version you get an audio clue when they come togther (a kind of "smack" noise).
In FPD there is really no audio clue, you just have to wait for a split second after they come together.
I had the same exact problem when I moved to D because of all the time I spent playing the GBA game. It just took alot of practice on difficulty 1 to finally get used to it.
Taking Curryman may help you to learn the grapples in FPD easier because he is so spicy...
I don't know if you're asking, but you usually just have to hit square and x at the same time.Originally posted by Korian
Figured out how to blow fire or mist yet. Sabu, Muta and a bunch of others can.
And, I STILL think that Giant Gram 2k and VPW2 are both better than this, although I love this game as well.
